It's That Time Again!! Shake out Your Blankets and Pull out Your Picnic Ware!

A Helping Hand Family Reunion Picnic is just around the corner. Plan to be a part of this great weekend, June 20-21th. Not only is there great entertainment for kids, including slides, inflatable play stations, fun games and much more, but it is a great time to reunite with travel groups, meet other adoptive parents and A Helping Hand staff.

This year, our focus is on connecting families and providing plenty of time to enjoy the company of each other.  There are some dramatic changes to this year's events: a change in cost, change in location (we are having our 2008 Picnic at Jacobson Park) and change in the picnic plan. As always, you are welcome to make this a true picnic in the bluegrass.

Two hotels in the area, Sleep Inn and Doubletree Hilton, offered our families a special rate. They are holding a block of rooms for us and in order to take advantage of the special rate a family has to make a reservation with Sleep Inn before June 6th, or before May 30th with Doubletree Hilton.

Last year's picnic continues to impress upon us the true meaning of community. We certainly hope to top your expectations and expereince from the previous year!  We look forward to seeing you there.
