About Us Board
In addition to the typical legal function that a board of directors serve, the board of A Helping Hand serves as a prayer group. They, individually and together, pray for every orphan, client and family throughout the entire adoption process.
Tony Brewer, M.A., LL.M, J.D.
Tony is married to Cindy Brewer and they are the parents of Jillian (6), Anna Mei (4), Elizabeth (3), Faith (2), and Joy (2). Tony is a past
Christian school teacher and administrator, and a past practicing attorney. He has worked in the field of adoption since 1994. Tony and Dale Ditto began
A Helping Hand in 1995. Cindy has held assistant pastor positions in several churches and is currently completing her Master of Divinity degree at
Asbury Theological Seminary.
Dr. May Briscoe
May Briscoe is a Ph. D. in Psychology and a retired social worker from the Kentucky Cabinet for Families and Children. Dr. Briscoe is active in prayer networks currently, is an intercessor, and conducts home studies for A Helping Hand.
Keith Messinger
Keith and Lydia Messenger are long time AHH friends and supporters. The Messingers have adopted from China and have biological children as well. Keith is an architect and is active in AHH events and programs.
Dale Ditto
Dale is a former adoption attorney who has helped hundreds of couples adopt and who currently works in the financial serives field. He and his wife, Louisa, are the pround parents of five sons and live in Lexington, Kentucky. Dale is a graduate of Oral Roberts University and the University of Virginia School of Law.
Jeff Fannin
Pastor Jeff and Tammy Fannin have two grown sons and also adopted twins from China. Pastor Fannin leads his church near Morehead, Kentucky while operating Good Shepherd Printing, also in Morehead.
